The Best Way To Find Triathlon Races

As a triathlete myself, I wanted to find a calendar where all races are displayed no matter the event’s brand or size and with only a couple of useful filtering options.

I didn’t find anything I liked, so I created one on my own. It has evolved a lot over the years. This article will show you what you can do with it and how all triathletes can make it even better.

I hate browsing through calendar lists. You never really know where the races are, and it is boring to look at. So I created a calendar where triathletes can search their next races directly on a map.

See below for an example with the US. You can access it through the main menu or directly at this URL:

Everything is on one page, no need to paginate forever to find what you are looking for! 🙂

From this map, you see all races in the US. You can zoom in and out wherever you want, or narrow down the search with a couple of valuable filters:

Once you are in an area you are interested in, click on the icons to see the corresponding details. From there, you can also go to the organizer’s website.

If you see that some pieces of information are missing or incorrect, click on update. It will open a new tab where you can fill those gaps. Once saved, simply close the tab.

Those changes will be available to everyone (you would need to refresh the map’s page).

There is no way I can have all the triathlon races on my own. Some new races are created every year, and others are stopped or renamed. For this calendar to work, we need the help of all triathletes. The more triathletes use, update, and add races, the better it will become for all of us.

I created a page called “Add A Race”, which is accessible from the menu or directly at this URL:

I made it as easy as possible. Add the info you can find, save, and voilà: we have one more race in our calendar 🙂

One cool tip that still few people know, you can add any webpage on your phone home screen, so you have direct access to it.

Let’s say you want to see the races in the US, access the URL from a mobile phone, and look for “Add to Home screen” in your browser’s settings.

I hope you enjoy the race calendar. If you have any suggestions or issues with it, feel free to email me at
